Who runs AEO & SEO?
I’m Sumon Mon, a digital marketer, SEO practitioner, and the founder of aeoandseo.com.
I’ve been building websites and growing organic traffic since 2015. Over 12+ years, I’ve built and managed multiple blogs across different monetization models: Amazon affiliate sites, Google AdSense blogs, and high-ticket affiliate marketing websites. I also founded Rank Rivet, a web design and SEO agency that helps brands improve their search visibility.

How I got here
I started with minimal technical knowledge and a tight budget. Everything I learned came from the internet: YouTube tutorials, SEO blogs like Search Engine Land, Moz, Ahrefs Blog, Semrush Academy, and Google’s own documentation. My first site didn’t have a premium look. My first article was moderate at best. But I kept going because even those early, rough attempts taught me more than any course could.
Over the years, I’ve tested 100+ tools: SEO platforms, AI writing tools, hosting providers, link building services, content optimization software. Some worked. A lot didn’t. I wasted money on tools that promised results and delivered nothing. I watched Google updates wipe out sites I’d spent months building. And I rebuilt, every time.
I also lived through some of the biggest shifts in digital marketing: the explosion of Pinterest and Bing as real traffic sources (not just Google alternatives), and the rise and fall of Parasite SEO, from its days as an underground growth tactic to Google’s crackdown on site reputation abuse.
Through all of it, I developed and tested my own SEO and AEO techniques: strategies for recovering from algorithm updates, methods for building traffic from new sources, and content frameworks that hold up when Google changes the rules. That hands-on experience across multiple niches, multiple monetization models, and multiple algorithm cycles is what I bring to every piece of content on this site. When I say something works, I’ve tested it. When I say something doesn’t, I’ve probably lost money proving it.

Search is changing faster than it has in the last decade.
Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity AI — these answer engines are reshaping how people find information. Traditional SEO still matters, but it’s no longer the full picture. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is becoming just as important for anyone who depends on organic visibility.
I couldn’t find a single resource that covered both SEO and AEO with practical, tested advice. Most AEO content is either vague theory from agencies or recycled SEO tips with a new label. And most SEO content ignores the answer engine shift entirely.
So I built the resource myself.

My approach to content
One rule runs through everything on this site: I don’t write about what I haven’t tested.
Every guide is based on real results from real sites. I include my own screenshots, my own data, and my own failures. Knowing what doesn’t work saves you just as much time and money as knowing what does.
I don’t do hype. I don’t promise overnight results. And I don’t recommend tools just because they pay a higher commission. (Yes, some links on this site are affiliate links. I’m transparent about that. But I recommend tools based on quality, and I’ll tell you when a free alternative is good enough.)
